WELCOME TO MY CLASS!

2020-2021

Greeting Families!

It is my pleasure to welcome you all into my classroom for this academic school year. 

Although this has been far from what we know to be normal in our lives, please know that I have planned a year of fun with lots of S.T.E.A.M. exploring, virtual traveling, journaling, making math and science discoveries, and literature studies! There is so much for us to learn in second grade and we are going to have a blast while learning! My goal is always to make sure students not only learn content required for the year, but to learn with mastery that is long lasting.

Our classroom is using Google Classroom to implement and direct our core content. Students are expected to complete assignments and submit work on time. I do understand circumstances arise that are beyond our control, so understand I will be flexible and supportive to everyone to make sure all students are successful.

I encourage parents to allow their child to navigate this virtual learning process independently. This will ensure students are able to work and take ownership in their own learning virtually and as we begin to transition back to the school building.
